The Maharashtra Housing and Area Development Authority organises the MHADA lottery every year to provide affordable housing to the residents of Maharashtra. Through this scheme, around 600 flats were distributed among households from different income groups in 2019.
Before applying, understand the eligibility criteria one needs to fulfil to qualify for this lottery.
Applicants must be above 18 years at the time off application.
Aspirants must have a domicile certificate to prove that they are residents of Maharashtra.
Applicants must have a PAN card.
Aspirants must be salaried individuals.
Apart from these elementary criteria, salaried individuals can apply for flats based on their monthly income.
LIG – Monthly income between Rs.25,001 and Rs.50,000.
MIG – Monthly income between Rs.50,000 and Rs.75,000.
HIG – Monthly income of Rs.75,000 and above.
